The Peaceful Warrior Martial Academy is a school where you and your family will feel right at home. We offer a high energy, positive oriented program for ages 6 - adult.

The head instructor is Senior Master Gary Pieratt, a full time professional instructor.   Master   Pieratt   is  a member of two Martial Art Halls of Fame,  a coach to  national   and   state champions, and  holds black belts in 5 arts.

Mr. Pieratt includes stretching, breathing exercises, meditation, pressure point healing, and sports performance  enhancement techniques   in  his teachings.

Master Pieratt, who began his eastern arts training in 1976, (he was a high school wrestler prior to that) has taught martial arts in the San Antonio, TX area now since 1989. He is considered to be one of the  best  instructors in the area.

American Taekwondo 7th degree,  American Street Karate 7th degree,  Combat Hapkido 2nd degree, American Iaido (sword)  2nd degree, Tang Soo Do 1st degree.

What We Offer

American Taekwondo, a sport oriented martial art, with some self defense training included. It is the world’s most popular martial art. It is primarily a kicking art, including all the flying, jump spinning kicks you see in the movies. Our program is a high energy, positive oriented program. For ages 6 and above.

Our version of American Street Karate is now called Specialized Combat. It is a no nonsense, offensive martial art which takes your martial arts training into the 21^st century. It is an effective mixed martial art system designed for the street. This system incorporates stand up fighting, including strikes and kicks, ground fighting, and submission techniques. You will learn to disarm anyone with a weapon, whether they have a knife, stick or a handgun. This program teaches you to handle any situation you might find yourself in.  Available for ages 12 and above.
